Disco Volante

Seriously, a giant disco ball wood fired pizza oven? This Italian restaurant in Vienna called Disco Volante wanted to capture the disco era of the seventies and eighties and what a great job they did. In charge of the design, as well for most of the production of the oven, was Vienna based Madame Mohr a young architects and designers collaborative. The oven slowly turns with about one revolution per minute so at night this pretty restaurant turns into a real 70s disco.. i’ll say Relight My Fire!
