I don’t watch much TV.
There are not so many programs that I like. But if I want to see something, I demand that screen.
In a family with 5 people you have to claim it.
For example, I like to watch the Grand Designs program from England with presenter Kevin McCloud.
The most extraordinary building projects pass by and the people are enormously driven to reach their goal. I love that.
Only with most houses that are finally finished, the interior is unfortunately not always that interesting. At the house that I show you here, this luckily worked out well.
The people who had this house rebuilt and in which they themselves worked are interior designer Beth Dadswell from Imperfect Interiors and her husband Andrew Wilbourne from London with very special ideas and ideals. Beth did the entire interior design of this beautiful place.
They got the inspiration for the garden from Paris where you can find hidden indoor gardens.
Beth is also an interior architect and therefore knows how to apply everything properly.
I find the use of the colors, the beautiful materials and the unity the most special. It is coordinated. The lighting, faucets, cupboards, tiles, walls, door handles etc. all carefully selected and correctly processed in this house.
Beth’s office is a feast for the eyes, ready for enough creative assignments.
And the garden is a picture full of hydrangeas, clematis, salvias, grasses, shrubs and trees in pots and large barrels. What an idea to create such a green oasis of tranquility.
I’m in love with this house!
Nice weekend,
